The weather in Chicago was perfect for a night out on the town. Perhaps everyone was thinking the same thing as the parking lot filled quickly for Blake Martin’s “Night of a Thousand Fantasies” fashion event, hosted by WGCI 107.5’s Chicago radio personalities Demi Lobo and UB Rodriguez. After being greeted by a physically toned male model on boxers, the thought of having to park two blocks away from the site of the show faded away.

Blake Martin Productions, Inc. has always produced great fashion shows, but this event was incredibly amazing. In most fashion shows, you expect to see the latest articles of clothing that are presented in Fashion Week across the world. This runway was glorified with handsome male and gorgeous female models sporting the sexiest undergarments ever. It’s no surprise that the undergarments featured were from Victoria’s Secret, designs by Andrew Christian, Llewellyn, Gilly Hicks Sydney and pieces from Tease Boutique.

There was never a dull moment. The hosts kept the audience intrigued, engaged and involved with every minute of the show. Fashion show spectators were really excited when a few ladies from the audience competed in a walk-off, which was judged by surprise guest Bianca Golden of America’s Next Top Model. Another great highlight was a performance by the talented and trendy R&B sensation, Mark “JP” Hood. His version of John Legend’s "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)" was definitely a crowd–pleaser.

\The creativity of the show was impeccable. Each scene incorporated a theme that brought forth a new appreciation for fashion shows. This was not your typical walk, turn and pose for the camera type of runway. Imagine models rocking the hottest undergarments with a homecoming, springtime or fly away theme. One of the most memorable and moving themes was the revenge of the ex-scene, where it started off with dancers including Blake Martin, incorporating dancing and acting to illustrate tales about people who were involved in abusive relationships, but who eventually escaped.

Blake Martin produced yet another awesome production. This fashion show was different from his other productions – it was refreshing, creative and definitely worth every minute.
